Job summary

Saga Travel is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team in the Folkestone area. You will partner with stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and the wider business to translate questions into reliable reporting and insights, using Power BI and SQL to deliver business‑critical dashboards.

You will work with complex datasets, drive end‑to‑end reporting, and help raise data literacy across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in BI or data analytics delivering dashboards or reports for business decision‑making.
• Strong understanding of modern reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau) and data modelling concepts (measures/DAX).
• Proficient in writing SQL queries to explore and validate data.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate requirements into clear analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain dashboards and management reports in Power BI.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis with SQL and BI tools to explain business performance.
• Interpret trends and turn analysis into actionable insights for trading and wider business outcomes.
• Ensure reporting accuracy by collaborating with Data Engineering to fix data issues.
• Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders and coach users on self‑serve analytics.
• Contribute to evolving data models and advanced analytics approaches (segmentation, forecasting).
