About Operational Excellence

Operational Excellence at THG delivers world-class Operations Transformation across the nutrition division and the wider group, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies and enabling global growth.

Reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, the Data Analyst will be responsible for interpreting data to inform wider stakeholders of how the business is doing, providing an insight into processes and identifying where improvements could be made. The post holder will have 1-3 years’ experience, and the role will be suited to those who have a background in mathematics, statistics or related subject in which the interpretation and analysis of data is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective reports and controls (self-service and automated) for all phases of activity within Logistics
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis for Logistics Leads/Executives as and when required
  • Build strong relationships with and influence internal stakeholders to drive operational performance
  • Work collaboratively across all of THG’s divisions and problem solve from a helicopter approach
  • Maintain and own existing data pipelines/dashboards and ensure their accuracy
  • Perform root-cause analyses on key problem areas
  • Undertake and provide training to maintain an appropriate level of technical competence and team flexibility

Requirements:

  • Graduate in mathematics, statistics, business or related subject - Undergraduate or Masters or relevant experience (1-3 years)
  • Proficient with SQL (essential)
  • Experience with data visualisation software (Tableau/Looker/PowerBI) – preferred
  • Experience with programming languages (Python/R) – advantageous
  • Able to communicate effectively; using data to tell a story and drive business change
