Policy Expert is a forward-thinking business with proprietary technology and data-powered insights. The Data Analyst role involves producing regular reports, discovering patterns, and partnering with product and tech teams to solve data problems.

You will present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders, support decision-making, and drive data quality and automation across departments. London office with 50/50 hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Data Analysis role.
• Experience with SQL databases, writing SQL queries, and working with large data sets (preferably Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge and experience presenting figures and trends from data in reports to non-technical people.
• Experience working in an embedded operating model where analysts are partnered with business domains to deliver actionable insights (desirable).
• Insurance industry experience would be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports for stakeholders, with aim to automate over time.
• Investigate patterns and provide ad hoc figures as requested by business areas.
• Collaborate with product and technical teams to address data problems or support new developments.
• Inform decision-making with accurate data.
• Provide data feeds to other departments and systems to support business processes.
