Cathcart Technology in Greater Manchester is seeking a Data Analyst to join its technology team, taking ownership of reporting and analytics across a platform used by millions of users.

You will work on a broad range of data projects, build dashboards, query large datasets with SQL, and translate findings into clear insights for both technical and business stakeholders. The role blends analytics with product and commercial support in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Commercial data experience as a Data Analyst, Product Analyst, BI Analyst or similar.
• Strong SQL skills and confidence querying relational databases.
• Experience building dashboards and presenting data visually.
• Ability to turn analysis into meaningful conclusions and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and regular business reporting.
• Query and analyse large datasets using SQL.
• Present analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analyse customer behaviour across digital products and measure impact of changes.
• Evaluate results from A/B tests and experiments in the internal platform.
• Identify trends and opportunities within data and help establish KPIs and reporting.
• Support product and commercial teams with ad-hoc analyses.
• Grow knowledge of web analytics and Google Analytics.
