Government Recruitment Service is seeking a Data Analyst in Cardiff to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight for senior leaders. You will collect, organise and analyse data to support evidence-based decisions across the Insolvency Service.

Reporting to the Deputy Head of Statistics, you will join the Analysis and Performance team, developing data literacy and automating data flows, with opportunities to learn Power BI, R and Azure Data Platform.

Qualifications

• Strong data interpretation and storytelling skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality statistics and insights for varied audiences.
• Experience working with data to inform policy and delivery decisions.

Responsabilités

• Create regular official statistics and outputs for different audiences.
• Develop performance reports and dashboards with data-driven stories.
• Apply analytical techniques to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Handle qualitative and quantitative data ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with digital and analytical colleagues to share insights.
• Support automation of data flows and improve data visualisation capabilities.
