Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst Coach/Assessor to remotely support learners working toward Data Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3–4). Role involves coaching, assessing progress, and embedding Maths/English Functional Skills.

Some travel for team meetings may be required, with focus on timely reviews and readiness for end point assessment. Applicants should have a Data Analyst qualification (degree preferred), be willing to pursue an assessor award or teaching

Qualifications

• Coaching or assessing learners on Data Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3–4).
• Willing to work towards a recognised assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or Level 3 teaching qualification.
• Must hold a relevant Data Analyst qualification (ideally degree level).
• Experience preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or R.
• Excellent IT skills and comfort with online systems.
• Flexible with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coach Apprentices undertaking Data Technician and Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4).
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in delivery.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to identify learner needs and interventions.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely reviews.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to learner needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Ensure readiness for end point assessment within timescales.

Essential Criteria To Apply

• The successful candidate must have experience coaching or assessing learners working towards the Data Analyst Apprenticeship Standards (up to Level 4).
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or a Level 3 Teaching qualification or above.
• Must hold a relevant Data Analyst qualification (ideally at Degree level), with solid occupational competency.
• Experience of preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Knowledge and experience of using either SQL, Python or R is essential.
• Excellent IT skills and confident with the use of IT and online systems.
• Must be flexible with travel as required.

Duties

• Assess and coach Apprentices who are undertaking their Data Technician and Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4).
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in to delivery.
