Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd seeks a Data Analyst Coach/Assessor to support learners on Data Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4). The role is primarily remote with very limited travel for team meetings.

You will coach, assess and prepare learners for End Point Assessments, embedding Functional Skills Maths and English where needed. A recognised assessor award or teaching qualification is preferred and beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must have coaching or assessing learners on Data Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3/4).
• Hold or work towards a recognised Assessor award and/or Level 3 Teaching qualification.
• Experience preparing learners for End Point Assessments and proficient with SQL/Python/R.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coach Apprentices on Data Technician/Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3/4).
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in delivery.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments and tailor interventions.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely reviews.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to learners.
• Keep documentation updated on learners' progress and readiness for EPA.

Essential Criteria To Apply

• The successful candidate must have experience coaching or assessing learners working towards the Data Analyst Apprenticeship Standards (up to Level 4).
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or a Level 3 Teaching qualification or above.
• Must hold a relevant Data Analyst qualification (ideally at Degree level), with solid occupational competency.
• Experience of preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Knowledge and experience of using either SQL, Python or R is essential.
• Excellent IT skills and confident with the use of IT and online systems.
• Must be flexible with travel as required.

Duties

• Assess and coach Apprentices who are undertaking their Data Technician and Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4).
• Embed Functional Skills Maths and English in to delivery.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, to ensure learner needs are identified and any targeted interventions are put in to place.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales, ensuring readiness for end point assessment
