Job summary

KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Data Analyst Coach / Assessor to support apprentices working on Data Technician and Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4). This remote role requires strong coaching and assessment skills and a flexible approach to travel for occasional team meetings.

You will assess learners, embed Functional Skills maths and English, and prepare candidates for End Point Assessment.

Qualifications

• Must have experience coaching or assessing learners working towards the Data Analyst Apprenticeship Standards (up to Level 4).
• Hold - or be willing to work towards - a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) and/or a Level 3 Teaching qualification or above.
• Must hold a relevant Data Analyst qualification (ideally at Degree level), with solid occupational competency.
• Experience of preparing learners for End Point Assessment.
• Knowledge and experience of using SQL, Python or R is essential.
• Excellent IT skills and confident with the use of IT and online systems.
• Must be flexible with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coach Apprentices who are undertaking their Data Technician and Analyst Apprenticeships (Levels 3 and 4).

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, to ensure learner needs are identified and any targeted interventions are put in to place.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews are conducted.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Work to learner review and completion timescales, ensuring readiness for end point assessment
