Job summary

Allica Bank in London seeks a data analyst to join the newly formed business intelligence team, building analytics and insights capabilities across the bank. You will work with Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Product and management to translate data into actionable stories.

You will own reporting, dashboards (Looker), ETL pipelines, and data standards, collaborating with product teams and stakeholders to drive a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a data analyst in a start-up or fast-paced organisation.
• You have a proven track record with SQL and writing queries (GCP/BigQuery preferred).
• You have a solid foundation in Python programming or a strong desire to learn with basic knowledge already achieved.
• You are flexible to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a very dynamic environment and work well with stakeholders across the business.
• You communicate effectively and are comfortable with translating technical detail into business and commercial language.

Responsibilities

• Understand our products and processes through the data we have or collect.
• Help stakeholders leverage your data knowledge to build reporting that improves KPIs.
• Originate, maintain and enhance data analytics ETL’s.
• Build dashboards and reports (Looker).
• Work with product teams and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver data requests.
• Develop and maintain data standards, document findings and share with the data team and beyond.
• Help implement a data-driven mindset in the company.
