The Royal Caribbean Group’s (Asset Data Management) Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Analyst, Asset Data Management reporting to the Director of Asset Management.

Position is onsite and based in Weybridge, UK.

Position Summary:

The Analyst, Asset Data Management is responsible for providing detailed analytical high-level status reports to support all Royal Caribbean Group brand vessels with Asset Management initiatives, contribute, and support the Asset Management Digitalization strategy and lead cross-functional collaboration across the organization (IT, Newbuild, Supply Chain, Ship/Shore Operations, and Finance) to deliver high-quality and successful projects and strive for continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute and guide Development for Asset Data Platform, AMOS API’s, Data Governance, Inventory/Maintenance Optimization, AMOS Registrations, and other AM applications.
  2. Data/Technical role for projects within the Asset Management department.
  3. Strive for continuous improvement of data quality and standardization across the fleet.
  4. Support Asset Management projects ensuring adherence to PMO and Global Project Management Standards.
  5. Participate and support Asset Management Digitalization Strategy in coordination with PMO to expand business analysis capabilities of the Marine Operation and drive data-driven decision making.
  6. Work closely with key internal/external stakeholders to understand how to adapt and evolve the strategy for delivering high-quality and successful projects.
  7. Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Continuous research on improved efficiencies of current products and their content including new innovations.
  9. Remain current with industry trends, especially as related to contemporary management techniques.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business/Technology or related field preferred.
  2. 2 – 5 years of experience with ERP systems, AMOS experience preferred but not mandatory.
  3. Expert in Data Management/Optimization (Technical, Business, Communications, Digitalization).
  4. In-depth understanding of project management processes. Professional accreditation preferred.
  5. Expert knowledge of database architecture, content, and development.
  6. Experience with API’s, Oracle, SQLSVR, Azure, and .NET preferred.
  7. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Products such as Excel, Visio, Word, Azure, Power BI, SharePoint, and Project are preferred.
  8. Experience in the travel/cruise industry preferred.
  9. Candidate must possess a combination of strategy, execution, organizational, and communication skills.
  10. Ability to analyze data and research results to make recommendations.
  11. Ability to apply strong analytical, financial, conceptual, and strategic thinking.
  12. Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  13. Experience in managing internal and/or cross-functional teams.
  14. Ability to assemble, lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop strategies that include input and buy-in from all stakeholders.
  15. Proven ability to collaborate with others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  16. Experience developing strategic framework, planning, executing, and managing projects.
  17. Ability to grasp the complexities of the business to effectively translate that into a strategy.
  18. Willingness to take personal initiative.
  19. Strong business acumen.
  20. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the senior-most executive levels of a company.
  21. Attention to detail and follow-through.
  22. Strong key computer skills (Excel, Visio, Word, Azure, Power BI, SharePoint, and Project).
