Descrição da oferta de emprego

Are you a curious problem-solver who loves finding the story hidden in the numbers? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join Amazon as a Data Analyst Apprentice.

You’ll be part of a dynamic team that turns complex, messy data into insight the business can act on - working with teams across the organisation to solve real-world challenges. The problems you solve will help shape experiences for millions of customers.

This apprenticeship is where you’ll grow. You’ll build your technical toolkit alongside the critical thinking to understand a problem before you solve it, and the confidence to communicate what your findings actually mean.

A day in the life can involve:

  • Diving into diverse data sets, cleansing and transforming them into structured formats for analysis
  • Leveraging powerful data visualisation tools to bring information to life and tell a story
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation, understanding their needs and translating them into actionable insights
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments
  • Participating in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities

Our data team is a passionate group who thrive on turning complex information into meaning. We move fast, fail fast, and fix faster - so you’ll be encouraged to bring your ideas, test them, and learn as you go, with the mentorship and support to help you excel.

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds. What matters most is a meticulous eye for detail - you’ll be working with large datasets where accuracy and quality really count - along with the flexibility to adapt as priorities shift.

Here at Amazon, it’s in our nature to learn and be curious. Within this apprenticeship, you’ll learn by doing – putting newfound knowledge into practice every day. Our first-class coaching, tailored development, and rewarding work will empower you to reach new heights and build the future you envision.

You’ll gain a vast range of experiences and skills while working towards the BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (Data Analysis Pathway) Degree. As a working student, your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off-the-job time, developing the skills, knowledge, and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You’ll be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.

You’ll build your skills over a 42-month period, starting in September. Your apprenticeship will combine classroom/virtual-based training, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning, and mentoring from our experienced team members.

We value different perspectives and experiences, and we’re dedicated to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Our employee-led affinity groups – including communities for women in tech, LGBTQ+ employees, and underrepresented minorities – provide community, mentorship, and a platform for your voice to be heard. We’re committed to building a workforce that reflects the customers and communities we serve.

We’re also continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth’s Best Employer, so you’ll have the resources and support to develop into a well-rounded professional.

Your career isn’t a straight path - it’s a journey you build as you go. A universe of opportunity awaits, and your next adventure starts here.
