Lloyds Banking Group is offering an 18-month Data Apprenticeship in Bristol. You’ll learn to tame big datasets, identify patterns, and turn them into insights that inform safer, smarter banking.

The program covers SQL, Python, data visualisation, forecasting and AI‑driven analytics, with a strong focus on building practical data products for real-world use. You’ll work under a mentor and structured learning path, gaining hands-on experience while the company funds your Level 4 qualification.

Qualifications

• GCSE at grades 4-9 in Maths and English (achieved)
• 3 A levels at grades CCC (predicted or achieved)
• Level 4 Data Analyst Apprenticeship with BPP (required)

Responsibilities

• Dive into SQL and advanced data joins and transform data into insights

Your Future – Fully Funded Apprenticeship

We’ll cover your salary and fully fund your qualifications, setting you up for success with a level 4 apprenticeship in Data and AI. You’ll gain hands‑on experience working with some of the UK’s largest and most complex datasets and develop versatile skills that open doors across analytics and AI.

• GCSE at grades 4-9 in both Maths and English (achieved)
• 3 A levels at grades CCC (predicted or achieved as required)

Important Information

An additional requirement for the apprenticeship position is that you must currently possess a valid Right to Work in the UK. Your visa end date must extend beyond the duration of the apprenticeship programme, which will last up to five years. Due to Home Office requirements regarding Skilled Workers, we’re unable to accept applications for visa sponsorship for our apprenticeship roles as the proposed salary for the role does not meet the minimum threshold – if this situation applies to you, please consider looking for other vacancies which may be more suitable.

Location & Hybrid Working

This apprenticeship is based in Bristol, and you will be expected to work from your primary office location throughout the programme. While our hybrid working policy requires office attendance at least two days per week (40% for full‑time colleagues), apprentices are expected to be in the office most days during the initial settling‑in period. If your commute exceeds 1.5 hours, we strongly recommend relocating closer to the office to ensure consistent attendance in line with contractual and hybrid working expectations.
