Nigel Frank is seeking a Data Analyst in Newcastle with a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in office). The role focuses on turning complex data into actionable insights, developing reporting solutions and dashboards using Power BI, and partnering with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills, experience with cloud-based data sources and data modelling, and a passion for turning data into meaningful business outcomes.

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong SQL skills with data extraction and analysis experience.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI.

With data playing an increasingly important role in business decision‑making, they are looking to expand their analytics function with the addition of a Data Analyst.

This role will sit within a collaborative technology team and focus on turning complex data into meaningful insights that support operational performance, reporting and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business, helping to understand requirements, develop reporting solutions and uncover trends that drive informed decision‑making.

• Analyse and interpret data from multiple sources to deliver actionable business insights

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role
• Strong SQL skills with experience extracting and analysing data from relational databases
• Experience developing dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
• Experience working with cloud‑based data sources
• Ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights for non‑technical stakeholders
• Understanding of data modelling
