Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Query, analyse and present data across multiple systems using SQL, Excel and Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain reusable queries, reports and dashboards for migration, validation and data quality.
  • Support stakeholders in validating and cleansing data before migration cycles and go-live.
  • Identify data quality issues and highlight anomalies through clear reporting.
  • Collaborate with data architects, testers and business users to improve data quality processes.
  • Translate technical findings into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data validation, reporting and migration processes.

Job description

The Commercial and Programme Delivery Directorate, led by the Chief Commercial Officer, sits at the heart of UEL's strategic ambitions, bringing together expertise across commercial strategy, procurement, programme delivery, strategic transformation and business development to drive the University's major initiatives and long‑term growth agenda.   • Query, analyse and present data across multiple systems using tools such as SQL, Excel and Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain reusable queries, reports and dashboards to support migration, validation and data quality activities.
  • Support business stakeholders in reviewing, validating and cleansing data ahead of migration cycles and go‑live.
  • Identify and highlight data quality issues, anomalies and exceptions through clear reporting and analysis.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams, data architects, testers and business stakeholders to improve data quality processes and reporting standards.
  • Translate technical findings into clear, practical insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data validation, reporting and migration processes across the transformation programme

You are a highly analytical and detail‑focused data professional with strong SQL and reporting skills, and experience working with complex datasets across multiple systems. You're confident using tools such as Power BI and Excel to turn data into meaningful insights that support decision‑making and improve data quality.
