Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with expertise in Data and Power BI to join our Digital Services team. You will design data pipelines, transform raw data into insights, and develop dashboards to support strategic decisions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure data integrity and usability within the social care sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources.
- Develop and optimize data models for reporting and analysis.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, meeting stakeholder needs.
- Work with business units to understand and translate data requirements.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance.
- Support KPI development aligned with business goals.
- Document data processes and workflows.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI.
- Strong skills in Excel and data manipulation.
- Experience with data engineering tools (ETL, data pipelines, modeling).
- Experience with APIs as data sources.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Python scripting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of data lake and warehousing tools (Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Understanding of data governance and security.
- Experience with DAX and Power Query in Power BI.
- Background in health or social care data is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
