A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Data Analyst.
Make a real impact on strategic decision-making by providing the data insights, forecasting and analysis that help shape the Group's curriculum, performance and future direction.
Work with cutting-edge data and reporting tools, including Power BI, SQL and advanced Excel, while helping to develop innovative reporting and analytical solutions.
Enjoy a varied and influential role, working closely with senior leaders, curriculum teams, MIS and finance colleagues across all areas of provision.
Drive continuous improvement across the organisation, identifying trends, opportunities and risks while helping to strengthen data quality, governance and business intelligence capabilities.
The successful candidate will be primarily based at Accrington and Rossendale College but may be required to travel across sites.
Turn complex learner, curriculum, funding and performance data into meaningful insights, dashboards and reports that support decision-making across the Group.
Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Excel and SQL to improve efficiency and data accessibility.
Support curriculum planning, budgeting and forecasting through data modelling, trend analysis and scenario planning.
Work closely with curriculum, MIS, finance and quality teams to ensure data accuracy, identify risks and trends, and provide expert analytical support across the organization.
An experienced data professional with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI and analytical tools, with experience of working with large datasets and developing impactful reports and dashboards.
A highly organised and detail-focused individual who can validate, reconcile and interpret data accurately while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
An excellent communicator who can work collaboratively across teams, explain complex information to non-technical audiences and build strong working relationships at all levels.
