Job summary

Weir Group seeks a Data & AI Governance Lead for the S4+ programme, responsible for embedding enterprise-grade governance across data, analytics and AI assets. The role ensures trusted, compliant, and scalable solutions with strong ownership and risk management.

You will partner with the Transformation Data & AI Architect to design and enforce governance patterns, driving BAU readiness and ongoing compliance across global business streams.

Qualifications

Experience delivering data governance and/or AI governance in large programmes.
Ability to embed ownership, stewardship, data quality, privacy and Responsible AI by design.
Capability to translate policy into executable governance controls.
Ability to collaborate with architecture, delivery, legal, security and risk teams.

Responsibilities

Own delivery of Data & AI governance for S4+ across the programme.
Embed governance controls into delivery lifecycle (design, build, test, migrate, cutover, stabilisation).
Define ownership, stewardship, data quality and risk management across domains/workstreams.
Embed privacy, security and regulatory controls aligned to enterprise obligations.
Ensure Responsible AI controls and governance patterns are designed into architecture.
Track, report and escalate data & AI risk and compliance.
