Job summary

Yorkshire Building Society seeks a Data & AI Enterprise Architect Manager to set the target architecture and roadmaps for Data and AI capabilities, guiding investments to strategic priorities while simplifying the technology landscape.

You will lead a team of architects, ensure security and regulatory alignment, and partner with senior leaders to drive innovation and value across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Enterprise Architecture or a similar strategic leadership role.
• TOGAF certification (or equivalent architecture qualification and experience)
• Strong expertise in Data and AI architecture and strategy
• Experience developing enterprise-wide roadmaps, standards and architectural governance
• A track record of aligning technology architecture to business objectives
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including at senior level
• Experience leading, coaching and developing architecture teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Solution and Domain Architects.
• Own the Data & AI enterprise architecture, governance, standards and design patterns.
• Shape strategic roadmaps aligned to our Corporate, Technology, Data, AI and Security strategies.
• Drive consistency, re-use and simplification across our technology estate.
• Provide architectural leadership on key change initiatives and technology investment decisions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, risk and regulatory requirements.
• Influence senior stakeholders and champion best practice architecture across the Society.
