Job summary

Christie & Co is seeking a Data Administrator to maintain quality and accuracy of data in the IBIS CRM system. You will conduct comprehensive data research, validate ownership and contact details, and ensure reliable information for business development and market insight. This hybrid role supports a busy pubs and restaurants brokerage team.

The position involves data governance, collaboration with the regional team and ensuring high data standards for reporting and decision-making.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic understanding of AI tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of the property industry.
  • Ability to work at a steady pace in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and maintaining records in IBIS as required.
  • Use external sources (Nimbus Maps, Companies House, Land Registry, etc.) to verify data.
  • Research ownership information across multiple platforms.
  • Cross-match properties with owners and companies.
  • Archive outdated records or update them as needed.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate data entry.
  • Generate data extracts for reporting and analytics.

Data Administrator – Winchester/Leeds/Newcastle - Hybrid (2 days WFH)

Purpose of the Role

This role forms an integral part of the Christie & Co Pubs & Restaurants Brokerage Team and is responsible for maintaining the quality, accuracy and integrity of data within our Salesforce-based Customer Relationship Management system (IBIS).

The importance of clean, accurate and up-to-date data is paramount to the success of the team in identifying new business opportunities, securing sales instructions and connecting with prospective buyers. As such, this role plays a direct part in supporting the commercial performance of the division by ensuring that brokers have access to reliable information that enables targeted business development activity, market intelligence and client engagement.

The successful candidate will become the primary custodian of records within IBIS, undertaking comprehensive research across multiple data sources to ensure that ownership, contact and property information remains accurate, current and actionable.

About the Team

Our dedicated pubs and restaurants team, which operates across 11 UK offices and represents the largest specialist hospitality advisory group in the country, continues to support clients with unrivalled local market knowledge and national sector insight. Despite substantial cost pressures throughout 2025, transaction activity in the pubs and restaurants sector has remained resilient.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reviewing records within IBIS, adding, editing and maintaining information as required.
  • Using external data sources to ensure data is correct including Nimbus Maps, Companies House, Land Registry, Google, social media, third party aggregating databases and online resources.
  • Researching multiple platforms for information pertaining to ownership
  • Cross matching properties with owners with companies
  • Archiving records that are no longer valid or update them as required
  • Adding records where required
  • Liaising with the wider team to ensure that essential data is correctly entered
  • Retrieving data in various reporting formats from IBIS for various uses
  • Gathering information from teams to update IBIS
  • Ensuring that the IBIS system holds high-quality, reliable data that can be leveraged for reporting, analytics, market research and strategic decision-making.
Working Relationships and Contacts

You will report direct to the sector’s Regional Director. You will also have direct contact with the wider team.

Skills and Experience
  • Basic understanding of AI tools
  • GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above in Maths and English
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
