Job summary

The London Borough of Hillingdon is offering a Data Admin Apprentice role within the Performance & Insights team. You will support statutory reporting, data validation and general administrative processes to help the council operate smoothly and meet obligations.

You will gain hands-on experience with data collection, entry, and reporting, work with colleagues across services, and learn about FOI responses and data quality.

Qualifications

  • GCSEs including Maths and ICT.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic data entry processes.
  • Ability to organise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Eager to learn and develop skills in data reporting and administration.
  • Desirable: Previous experience in data administration or similar role.
  • Familiarity with statutory reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

  • Meet the residency criteria of 3 years lawful residence in the UK
  • Hold a visa that covers the full length of the apprenticeship, where applicable
  • Not be in full-time education at the time of applying
