Salary: £43,000 - 73,000 per year
Requirements:
- Experience working with SQL, data, and databases to explore data.
- Proven experience designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or a similar platform.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
- Experience working with big data storage solutions, such as data warehouses and/or data lakes.
- Experience generating internal and external reports for regulatory bodies.
- Higher education domain experience, specifically with student systems such as SITS.
- Experience collecting stakeholder requirements and translating them into engaging visual stories.
- Experience with the Azure cloud platform.
- Experience with data modelling.
- A bachelors or masters degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a relevant higher education domain.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in generating dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of data protection principles such as GDPR.
- Strong data analysis skills and an analyst mindset.
- Experience ingesting data from a variety of sources and performing transformations in a query editor.
- Strong proficiency in data visualisation principles and best practices.
- Experience developing accurate and performant DAX calculations on large datasets.
- Knowledge of Power BI certification such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate.
- Knowledge of other data visualisation tools and programming languages such as C# or Python is a plus.
