Dance Teacher

Royal Academy of Dance 36 Battersea Square, London SW11 3RA, UK
Start Date: 08/30/2021

Term time, daytime hours, and after school. Includes evening and weekend work.

Ad-hoc projects during holiday periods and weekends, cover teacher work.

Venue: RAD Headquarters in London, currently located at 36 Battersea Square, London, SW11 3RA. The RAD will be moving to a new venue at 188 York Road, London SW11 3JZ in the final quarter of 2021.

We are currently recruiting for Independent Contractor Teachers to join the Royal Academy of Dance’s (“RAD”) Dance School team. Teachers should be available to teach at RAD’s Dance School in London, specializing in RAD syllabus, non-syllabus technique classes, and other dance genres including musical theatre, acro, commercial jazz, street dance, contemporary dance, adult classes, older learners, SEN classes, and other cultural dance styles.

As a Dance Teacher, you will have:

• Skills and experience in one or more dance styles;
• Experience planning and delivering dance sessions and projects for young people;
• Good communication skills to form effective relationships with stakeholders;
• Ability to engage and motivate young people.
