Teaching Personnel is excited to support a well-regarded secondary school in Ashford, Kent with the recruitment of a passionate and talented Dance Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage students in dance, developing their skills, creativity, and performance abilities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
You will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging Dance lessons that foster physical expression, technique, and creativity.
Plan and deliver high-quality Dance lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Encourage students to explore a range of dance styles and techniques.
Monitor and assess student progress in line with school and exam board expectations.
Organise and support extracurricular dance performances and activities.
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT) with UK QTS is essential.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field.
Experience teaching Dance at secondary level.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
