An established Automotive client in Warwickshire is seeking an experienced Damper Build Engineer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bespoke damper specification builds, excellent hands-on skills, and a willingness to perform mechanical trials. This position offers an exciting opportunity within a specialized engineering team, with the potential for contract renewal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Automotive OEM, supplier, or motorsport/specialist.
• Physical, hands-on experience is essential.
• Must be willing to take part in mechanical trial/skills test hand building a damper.

Responsibilities

• Producing bespoke/prototype damper specification builds.
• Running rating measurement equipment and processing results.
• Joining a team of build engineers working on a double day-shift pattern.

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role:

Damper Build Engineer - 27.71/hr (Inside IR35) - Warwickshire - 9 Months (potential for yearly renewal)

Description:
Experienced Damper Build Engineer with proven track record of producing bespoke / prototype damper specification builds in a range of different damper technologies.
- Good IT skills
- Experience of running rating measurement equipment and processing results.
- Prior experience within Automotive, either OEM, supplier or motorsport/specialist businesses.

Position would be joining a team of build engineers working on a double day-shift pattern and so this would be expected.

Education:
- Minimum 2 years experience in the field, Automotive OEM prototype, supplier or motorsport/specialist.

Additional information:
