Job summary

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust is seeking a Damp and Mould Technician to join our Repairs team in Macclesfield. You will lead damp, mould and condensation remedial works, carrying out mould remediation and related applications in line with current regulations, including interior wall treatment and associated joinery tasks.

Applicants should have proven damp remediation experience, be familiar with Health & Safety guidelines, hold a full UK driving license and be a customer-focused team player

Qualifications

• Experience of internal mould remediation and decorative works.
• Experience working within statutory guidelines Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver damp, mould and condensation remedial works including mould remediation and related applications.
• Carry out interior wall treatment and any associated joinery/multi-skilled tasks inside properties.

Hours: Full-Time 37 hours per week - 0800-1600 Mon to Thurs and 0800-1530 on a Friday,

Working for a Housing Trust is a rewarding place to be. We are looking for a Damp and Mould Technician to join our Repairs team to deliver a high quality and continuously improving service to our customers.

In this role, you will focus predominantly on damp, mould and condensation remedial works including; mould remediation and related applications in accordance with current regulations, treatment to internal wall surfaces to eliminate mould growth, remedial decorative works where required and any associated joinery/multi skilled tasks to the inside of a property.

You must have experience of internal mould remediation and decorative works and have worked within statutory guidelines within the construction industry. e.g. Health & Safety, along with a full UK driving license. You should also be customer focused and a genuine team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
