Job summary

Peaks & Plains Housing Trust in Macclesfield seeks a Damp & Mould Technician to join the Repairs team, delivering high-quality damp and mould remediation work and associated internal treatments.

You will focus on mould remediation, decorative works, and related joinery tasks, following health and safety guidelines within the construction industry. A full driving licence and customer-focused teamwork are essential.

Damp & Mould Technician

Hours: Full-Time 37 hours per week - Mon to Thurs and on a Friday

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £30,156

In this role, you will focus predominantly on damp, mould and condensation remedial works including mould remediation and related applications in accordance with current regulations. This includes treatment to internal wall surfaces to eliminate mould growth, remedial decorative works where required and any associated joinery/multi skilled tasks to the inside of a property.

To be successful you must have experience of internal mould remediation and decorative works and have worked within statutory guidelines e.g. Health and Safety, within the construction industry, along with holding a full driving license. You should also be customer focused and a genuine team player with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
