Job summary

Mears Group in Glasgow is seeking a skilled Damp, Mould & Condensation Supervisor to lead our team on a social housing contract. The role blends supervision with practical trade duties across occupied and void properties, delivering planned and reactive works to a high standard.

You will coordinate operatives, manage subcontractors, monitor safety and quality, and ensure work is completed on time and in compliance with contractual requirements. A hands-on leader is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising repairs and maintenance teams.
• Practical trade skills in relevant trades.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in social housing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise planned and reactive maintenance delivery.
• Carry out practical trade works when required.
• Coordinate operatives and subcontractors across trades.
• Inspect sites before, during and after works to monitor quality.
• Identify and address damp, mould and condensation causes beyond surface treatment.
• Monitor safety and ensure PPE compliance on site.
• Communicate with residents and clients clearly and professionally.
• Ensure works are completed on time and to contractual standards.
