Job summary

ARC Group is seeking a Working Supervisor in Cambridge and surrounding areas to oversee a damp and mould contract. The role is a hands-on supervision position with duties including on-site remedial works alongside a team of operatives, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will lead by example, manage contractors and in-house teams, and perform property inspections and quality checks to ensure standards are met. A SMSTS certification and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Working Supervisor or similar role in social housing/property maintenance.
• Experience supervising damp and mould remedial works is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements and risk management.
• Excellent on-site leadership, organisation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operatives carrying out damp and mould works.
• Carry out hands-on remedial works when required.
• Lead by example and support operatives on-site.
• Manage contractors and in-house teams to ensure works meet standards.
• Carry out property inspections, quality checks and monitor remedial works.
• Identify damp and mould issues and ensure appropriate remedial solutions.
