Job summary

Randstad Construction and Property in Bracknell is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator with damp and mould specialist knowledge to join their reactive and planned maintenance team. You will deliver damp remediation, ventilation surveys, and decorating works in occupied homes, ensuring high-quality, right-first-time results and excellent customer service.

The role is permanent full-time with a salary around £35k plus company van, fuel card, and call-out options, plus pension and health

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Painter & Decorator with hands-on damp, mould, or stain-blocking treatments.
• Positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating (or Time-Served equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out specialist mould treatments, ventilation surveys, and associated decorating works.
• Delivering a high-quality, right-first-time service inside customers' homes.
• Keeping residents informed throughout the process, providing an excellent customer service experience.
• Managing materials efficiently and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
• Working collaboratively with office schedulers, supervisors, and site colleagues to improve living conditions across the housing portfolio.]
