Job description

Our client, based in Essex, is seeking an experienced Damp and Mould Inspector to join their Property, Asset Management & Development team on a 5-month temporary contract. The role will focus on inspecting domestic properties, diagnosing damp and mould issues, and ensuring full compliance with relevant legislation, including Awaab’s Law.

You will bring solid experience within the building maintenance industry, with proven expertise in property inspections and the identification and resolution of maintenance-related defects. A strong working knowledge of housing disrepair legislation, Awaab’s Law, and Health & Safety requirements is essential, including CDM regulations and the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS).

This is a full-time position offering a competitive rate of £250 per day, with the contract currently set to run for five months.
