Job summary

Aspire Housing Limited in Newcastle under Lyme is seeking a Damp and Mould Diagnostic Officer to assess damp, mould, condensation and repair cases remotely across Newcastle under Lyme and surrounding areas. You will escalate complex issues to surveyors or contractors as needed and help with repairs scheduling, occasionally visiting properties for mould washes or minor

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, property maintenance, repairs diagnostics or a similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of damp, mould, condensation and ventilation principles.
• Understanding of HHSRS and Awaab's Law.
• Ability to diagnose property issues and recommend repairs remotely.
• Experience using property management systems or digital monitoring tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant trade background or property maintenance experience.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.

We're looking for a Technical Triage Officer to be the first point of contact for damp, mould, condensation and repair concerns across our homes. Using remote monitoring technology, property knowledge and great customer service skills, you'll assess cases, identify risks, provide practical advice, and ensure customers get the right support quickly.

What you'll do
