Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is seeking a Production Operative to join the Dairy Department at Severnside Dairy. The role ensures the smooth running of raw milk intake, milk processing, cream processing and related lab tests; you will perform lab testing, record results and report findings to support processing quality and efficiency.

The position is Full Time, 42 hours per week with a 4 on 4 off rotating pattern. Salary is £35,842.06 per annum, with benefits and strong opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Continuous improvement experience is required.
• Quality assurance experience is required.
• Manufacturing experience, ideally in a food environment.
• Production experience, ideally in a food environment.

Responsibilities

• Checking and recording of all relevant paperwork.
• Sampling and testing of raw products.
• Loading tankers.
• Liaising with the other production departments.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures.
• Operate equipment and processes effectively, including asset care, maximising output, adherence to plan, waste reduction and cost savings.
• Undertake any other duties as required.
• Quality assurance.
