Job summary

Fonterra Canterbury is hiring Process & Packing Operators for its Clandeboye site in England on a fixed-term basis. You will work on a rostering shift pattern, with roles in control room or on the factory floor, setting up and operating automated production machinery and ensuring safety and quality procedures are followed.

You should have strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork, with the ability to perform quality checks, maintain documentation, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, checking and running automated production machinery safely and efficiently
• Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world class standards
• Running production processes and machine diagnostics to ensure quality standards are met
• Ensuring documentation is correct and complete
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure all health, safety and quality procedures are followed at all times
• Working on a rotating rostered shift pattern of 2 x 12-hour day shifts, 2 x 12-hour nights shifts, followed by 4 rostered days off
• Participating as a team player with a positive attitude
• Quality control and CCP monitoring
• Strong attention to details and the ability to follow instructions
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet
• Operating touch screen machinery
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is desirable
• Operating a Forklift with a current F and OSH would be helpful, but not essential
