Job summary

Cotteswold Dairy Ltd in Tewkesbury is seeking a reliable Laboratory Technician to join the busy Laboratory team in our Technical Department. You will support the delivery of a high-quality laboratory service through sampling, microbiological testing, compositional testing and chemical testing within a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.

This role requires accuracy, adherence to Good Laboratory Practice and food safety standards, plus ability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with clear standards.
• Willingness to learn and follow laboratory procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out sampling and testing of dairy products.
• Record and interpret results; maintain accurate records.
• Ensure laboratory areas are clean, organised and compliant.
• Follow HACCP, COSHH, and food safety requirements.
• Communicate with Laboratory Manager and wider team.
