Job summary

Travail Employment Group is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician for a well-established dairy business in Tewkesbury. The role involves routine sampling and testing of raw materials and finished products to meet quality and safety standards.

You will work closely with the Laboratory Manager and Technical team, gaining hands-on experience across microbiology, chemical testing, and dairy science in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English, Maths and Science desirable.
• Full training will be provided.
• Familiarity with COSHH, HACCP and basic food safety is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Sampling and testing raw milk and pasteurised dairy products.
• Carrying out microbiological testing using aseptic techniques.
• Performing compositional and chemical testing and recording results.
• Monitoring HACCP controls and supporting food safety requirements.
• Completing Certificates of Analysis and maintaining lab records.
