Job summary

T H WHITE Dairy is seeking a practical, customer-focused engineer to join our Attleborough depot and build a specialist career in modern market-leading dairy technology. Full product and specialist training will be provided, with installation, servicing, repair and breakdown response across the East of England.

This field-based role offers variety and autonomy in an expanding industry. 39 hours/week, Mon-Thurs 08:00-16:30, Fri 08:00-16:00, plus on-call rota of 1 week in every 3 after training.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical work.
• Electrical bias and fault-finding experience would be advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair milking equipment, parlours and automated dairy systems.
• Attend breakdowns and aim for a high first-time fix rate.
• Carry out installation and commissioning work as required.
• Complete clear and accurate job paperwork in a timely manner.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, professionalism and customer service on site.
• Work safely at all times and follow health and safety procedures.
• Represent T H WHITE positively when working on customer farms.
