Job summary

A Dairy Engineer role with Agricultural and Farming Jobs covers field-based visits across the East Midlands to install, service, maintain and repair dairy equipment such as milking machines and parlour systems. You will work directly with farmers, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently and delivering high levels of customer service.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical fault-finding, with travel across Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

Qualifications

• Previous engineering experience working with dairy equipment.
• Knowledge of milking systems and automatic feeding equipment.
• Full UK Driving Licence and flexibility for on-call work.
• Ability to read technical information and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair dairy equipment at farms.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend breakdowns and provide responsive technical support.
• Travel across the East Midlands and sometimes further afield.
• Maintain service and maintenance records.
