Talent Drive are supporting a leading food service business in recruiting a commercially minded Category Manager to own the Dairy category within a fast-paced procurement team.

This role combines strategic category management, supplier negotiations and stakeholder engagement to deliver real commercial impact across a significant spend portfolio, with leadership responsibility for a Buyer.

• Proven supplier negotiation and commercial skills.
• Ability to analyse data and turn insight into category strategy.
• Confident presenting and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong Excel / analytical capability.
• Proactive, engaging and collaborative personality.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive category strategy for the Dairy portfolio.
• Lead supplier negotiations and translate data into actionable plans.
• Engage with stakeholders across the procurement function.
• Develop and mentor a Buyer as part of the leadership scope.
