Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a Fathers’ Practitioner to engage fathers and support expectant fathers and non-birthing partners. The role delivers home visiting and group work, helping families build positive relationships and access the right help at the right time.

The post involves multi-agency collaboration, safeguarding knowledge and contributing to early help planning within Bath and North East Somerset.

Formación

• A relevant qualification in a children and families related discipline.
• Experience of undertaking assessments and delivering targeted interventions.
• Experience of working with children, families and complex needs.
• Experience of engaging fathers or male carers.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver evidence-based interventions through home visiting and group work to support families.
• Contribute to whole-family assessments, planning and coordinated support.
• Work in partnership with health services, early years settings and voluntary sector organisations.
• Travel across Bath and North East Somerset as required.
