Job summary

Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital is seeking a Da Vinci Robotic Clinical Leader to head the Robotic Theatre and Clinical team. You will lead the Surgical and Endoscopy teams, coordinate theatre lists and ensure safe, efficient robotic cases alongside Consultants.

Applicants should be registered nurses or HCPC registered ODPs with post‑registration surgery/anaesthetics experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or HCPC registered ODP with post-registration surgery/anaesthetics experience.
• Leadership experience in a theatre/operating department setting.
• Experience with robotic surgery and related specialties (general, bariatric, urology, gynae).

Responsibilities

• Lead Clinical/Surgical and Endoscopy teams in theatre ensuring smooth theatre lists.
• Collaborate across theatre suites to meet service demands.
• Promote clinical risk management, governance and safety.
• Oversee audits and equipment knowledge for ongoing improvements.
• Support continuous growth including possible Surgical First Assist training.
