Job summary

ADI Global Distribution is seeking a Supply Chain IT Lead to drive the Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM deployment in Europe from our Oldham base. The role requires coordinating across Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement to design and deliver robust D365 SCM solutions.

You will guide functional design, manage partners, and oversee testing, cutover, and hypercare, with a focus on continuous improvement and roadmap planning for the ERP program.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience on ERP deployment projects.
• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more SCM areas such as inventory, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing or planning.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycle and supply chain processes.
• Experience with D365 SCM configuration, master data, and process modeling.
• Ability to bridge business operations and IT delivery teams.
• Experience with external partners and system integrators.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Guide and review work of system integrators to ensure design and objectives are met.
• Design and build test plans; oversee SIT/UAT and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Technical Leads, Integration, Data Migration, and Security teams.
• Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare to ensure operations readiness.
• Provide continuous improvement and roadmap input post go-live.

JOB DUTIES:

• Act as the functional IT lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM), owning end-to-end supply chain process design and solution integrity
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Procurement business stakeholders to translate business needs into robust D365 SCM solutions
• Lead functional design and configuration across SCM modules, including Product Information Management, Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Transportation Management
• Conduct and own fit–gap analysis, functional design documents, and solution blueprints
• Guide and review work delivered by system integrators and implementation partners, ensuring adherence to design standards and business objectives
• Design and Build Test Plans and oversee testing strategy (SIT, UAT), defect resolution, and solution sign-off from Supply-chain perspective
• Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Integration teams, Data Migration, and Security roles
• Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring operational readiness
• Act as a trusted advisor for continuous improvement, enhancements, and roadmap planning post go-live

YOU MUST HAVE:

• At least 10 years of experience working on ERP deployment projects
• Proven experience as a Functional Lead or Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
• Hands-on experience expertise in one or more SCM areas such as inventory, warehouse, procurement, manufacturing or planning
• Strong understanding of end-to-end ERP implementation lifecycle and end-to-end supply chain business processes
• Experience with D365 SCM configuration, master data, and process modeling
• Ability to effectively bridge business operations and IT delivery teams
• Experience working with external implementation partners and system integrators
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus

WE VALUE:

• Experience in multi-country or multi-legal-entity environments
• Knowledge of advanced warehouse management integrations with 3PLs, freight forwarders and EDI
• Prior experience in global rollout or template-based ERP programs
• Microsoft certifications related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex operational requirements
