Job Description:

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Lead Finance Consultant with experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, combined with a strong understanding of Dynamics 365F&O processes and procedures, and practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is essential, as this role involves continuous interaction with clients, leading onshore consultants, and working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. The role also requires presales activities focused on Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform, contributing to proposal development and business development, while leading and mentoring junior staff. This position is key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions and offers a dynamic, exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing business area of a global firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream.
  • Leading module workstream of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations through all project phases.
  • Ownership of the solution for a D365 module (SCM, Finance, Commerce, HR), making design decisions, and reviewing/creating solution documentation.
  • Solves and advises on complex problems with creative solutions.
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable.
  • Provide on-site support and assistance during delivery and go-live phases.
  • Advise clients and delivery team members on scope (creep) and change control processes.
  • Demonstrate ability in upselling and understanding of additional capabilities.
  • Knowledge of D365FO product roadmap and future releases, with an emphasis on supply chain features.
  • Involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs, and other pre-sales activities.
  • Contribute to practice development and capability enhancement within the D365 F&O team.
  • Lead and mentor team members, promoting company values.
  • Manage performance of junior staff.
  • Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
  • Perform additional duties as instructed by Directors.
  • Represent KPMG MBS professionally at all times.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with D365F&O or AX2012, with at least 3 end-to-end implementations.
  • Extensive consulting experience and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead meetings, workshops, and present confidently to C-Suite executives.
  • Hands-on experience with D365 modules such as SCM, Finance, Commerce, HR.
  • Strong understanding of sub-modules and interfacing/integration capabilities.
  • Practical experience with LCS and Azure DevOps is beneficial.
  • Strong MS Office skills; Visio is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform and Business Intelligence is preferred.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants.
