About the Role
Are you a highly experienced Business Central Functional Consultant with extensive knowledge of the Business Applications suite, particularly within the UK SME and Construction sectors? Do you possess a deep understanding of Construction Industry operations, terminology, and current legislation? This opportunity allows you to oversee full project lifecycles and mentor other consultants, ensuring high standards and knowledge sharing across the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central, delivering end-to-end implementation projects.
- Support the commercial team in pre-sales activities, including demos, proposals, and quotations.
- Conduct detailed business process reviews to tailor solutions for client needs.
- Oversee project scoping, documentation, and planning for smooth execution.
- Manage system configuration, data migration, and testing during implementation.
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business goals.
- Provide post-implementation support, addressing issues and system enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends to promote innovation and product adoption.
- Mentor and train junior consultants, fostering knowledge sharing.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central/Navision (2013 onwards), including 10+ full lifecycle implementations.
- At least 3 Business Central implementations within the Construction industry.
- Expertise in Construction Industry processes, terminology, and legislation, including: application for payment processes, retention control, subcontractor CIS legislation, and CVR processing.
- Strong experience with third-party solutions such as Continia and Jet Reports.
- 3+ years in design, support, and management of Business Central solutions.
- Proficiency with Office365 and its integration with Dynamics 365.
- Experience with D365 development using C/AL and SSRS report generation.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other BI tools.
- Proven ability to create accurate project plans and deliver within scope, time, and budget.
- Experience mentoring and coaching consultants.
- Ability to manage diverse client needs across industries.
- Experience in pre-sales or client engagement roles.
