MS Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Consultant

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Finance Consultant with experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365 F&O projects. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, combined with a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 F&O process and procedures and practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, leading onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused around Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff. This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions' customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly developing business area within an established and market-leading global firm.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream
  2. Leading module workstream of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations through all phases of the project life cycle
  3. Ownership of the solution for a D365 module (SCM, Finance, Commerce, HR), making design decisions and reviewing/creating solution documentation
  4. Solves and advises on complex problems with creative solutions
  5. Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
  6. Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project to client and more junior team members
  7. Advise client and delivery team members of scope (creep) and use of change control processes
  8. Demonstrate ability around upselling and understanding of additional company capabilities
  9. Knowledge of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO in the supply chain area and demonstrate changes/additions to team members
  10. Involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs and other pre-sales activities as required
  11. Involvement in further development of capabilities in D365 F&O product team
  12. Contribute to practice development activities and involvement in the creation and delivery of these to fellow colleagues
  13. Leads people and helps to grow them in their role
  14. Promotes the Values of our company
  15. Performance manage two or more junior members of product team
  16. Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
  17. Carry out additional duties as may occur from time to time as instructed and agreed by Directors
  18. Represent KPMG MBS in a professional and positive manner at all times
Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Proven experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) or AX2012 with a minimum of 3 end-to-end implementations
  2. Extensive experience in consulting and very good presentation skills
  3. Ability to lead meetings and workshops, and confidently present to the C-Suite
  4. Demonstrable, hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365 FO) implementation experience in D365 Modules such as: SCM, Finance, Commerce, HR
  5. Strong understanding of sub-modules
  6. Experience with (D365 F&O) interfacing and Integration
  7. Beneficial to have practical experience of LCS and Azure DevOps
  8. Strong MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
  9. Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities
  10. Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
  11. Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs is a must
  12. Experience in mentoring more junior consultants is a must
