MS Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Lead Consultant
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Lead Finance Consultant with experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, combined with a strong understanding of Dynamics 365F&O processes and procedures, as well as practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. This role requires extensive consultancy experience, as it involves continuous interaction with clients, leading onshore consultants, and collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams. Additionally, the candidate will be involved in presales activities related to Dynamics F&O functionality and the broader Microsoft platform, contribute to proposal development, and support business development efforts. Leading and mentoring junior staff is also a key aspect of this role, which is vital for delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions to clients. This position offers a dynamic and exciting opportunity within a rapidly growing business area of an established global firm.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream
- Leading module workstream of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations through all phases of the project life cycle
- Ownership of the solution for a D365 Finance module, making design decisions and reviewing/creating solution documentation
- Solving and advising on complex problems with creative solutions
- Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
- Providing on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of the project to clients and junior team members
- Advising clients and delivery team members on scope management (creep) and change control processes
- Demonstrating ability in upselling and understanding additional company capabilities
- Staying informed about product roadmap and future releases of D365FO, especially in supply chain, and sharing updates with team members
- Responding to RFPs and RFQs and engaging in pre-sales activities as needed
- Contributing to the development of capabilities within the D365 F&O product team
- Participating in practice development activities and delivering training to colleagues
- Leading and mentoring team members to foster growth

- Performing additional duties as assigned by Directors

Requirements:
- Proven experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365F&O) or AX2012 with at least 3 end-to-end implementations
- Extensive consulting experience and strong presentation skills
- Ability to lead meetings and workshops, and confidently present to C-Suite executives
- Hands-on experience with D365FO modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management and Accounting, Fixed Assets, Management Reporter, Financial Consolidation, and Elimination
- Experience with electronic banking file needs and advanced financial workflow or journal approval processes
- Experience with interfacing and integration of D365F&O
- Practical experience with LCS and Azure DevOps is beneficial
- Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
- Knowledge of Power Platform capabilities
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
- Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs is essential
- Mentoring experience with junior consultants is required
