MS Dynamics 365 F&O Finance Lead Consultant
The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is seeking a Dynamics 365F&O Lead Finance Consultant with extensive experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects.
The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, proven experience in end-to-end implementations, a strong understanding of Dynamics 365F&O processes, and practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. This role involves continuous client interaction, leading onshore consultants, collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams, and participating in presales activities related to Dynamics F&O and the broader Microsoft platform. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to proposal development, support business development efforts, and mentor junior staff.
This position is critical to delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions for KPMG's clients and offers a dynamic opportunity within a rapidly growing business area of a global firm.
Responsibilities:
- Gathering and documenting functional requirements; conducting gap/fit analysis for workstreams
- Leading module workstreams of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations across all project phases
- Designing solutions for D365 Finance modules, making design decisions, and creating solution documentation
- Resolving complex problems with innovative solutions
- Delivering end-user training to clients and colleagues
- Providing on-site support during delivery and go-live phases
- Managing scope changes and utilizing change control processes
- Upselling and demonstrating knowledge of additional Microsoft capabilities
- Staying informed about product roadmaps and future D365FO releases, especially in supply chain areas
- Responding to RFPs and RFQs; supporting pre-sales activities
- Participating in the development of D365 F&O capabilities and practice development activities
- Leading and mentoring team members; promoting company values
- Managing performance of junior staff; ensuring timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training
- Performing additional duties as assigned; representing KPMG MBS professionally
Requirements:
- Proven experience with D365F&O or AX2012, with at least 3 full implementations
- Strong consulting experience and excellent presentation skills
- Ability to lead meetings and workshops; confident presentation to C-Suite
- Hands-on experience with D365 modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash & Bank Management, Budgeting, Project Management, Fixed Assets, Financial Consolidation, and more
- Experience with interfacing and integration of D365F&O
- Practical experience with LCS and Azure DevOps is beneficial
- Strong skills in MS Office; knowledge of Power Platform and BI is a plus
- Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs; mentoring junior consultants
