Job summary
Modis International Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Finance Systems Accountant to optimise a D365 Finance & Operations environment. The role sits at the intersection of Finance and IT, translating requirements into practical system solutions and leading configuration, testing and data validation activities.
You will work with IT and external partners on system changes and ERP improvements, supporting ongoing process optimisation and controls.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Systems Accountant/Finance Systems role.
- Accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or part-qualified.
- Experience supporting D365FO and core finance processes (R2R, P2P, O2C).
- Comfortable working with IT teams and external partners.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as a key finance systems SME for D365 Finance & Operations.
- Support configuration and ongoing optimisation of finance modules.
- Collaborate with IT and partners on system changes, upgrades and fixes.
- Translate finance requirements into functional system solutions.
- Support SIT, UAT, data validation and deployment testing.
- Maintain finance system controls, documentation and master data.
- Provide second-line support to finance users for system issues.
- Support finance transformation and continuous improvement projects.
