D365 F&O Security & Environments Consultant

Location: Liverpool (2 days on-site per week)

End User - FMCG / Consumer Goods

About the Role

I'm working with a long-standing client in the Food & Beverage sector, based in Liverpool, who’ve recently completed their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. They are in need of a hands-on F&O Security & Environments Specialist to join their team and play a pivotal role in ensuring their D365 platform is secure, stable, and scalable.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a household name in the FMCG space, helping to shape the future of their ERP system.

Day to Day:

• Security Management: Design, implement, and maintain security roles, duties, and privileges in D365 F&O.
• Environment Oversight: Manage multiple environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod), ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruption.
• Access Governance: Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure users have the right access at the right time – and nothing more.
• Compliance & Audit: Support audits by ensuring security configurations meet standards.
• Collaboration: Partner with IT, functional leads, and external partners for environment stability.
• Documentation & Training: Create documentation and transfer knowledge to internal teams.

What I'm Looking For:

• Proven experience in D365 F&O security and environment management.
• Strong understanding of role-based security models and lifecycle services (LCS).
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Confident communicator bridging technical and business teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work independently in a hybrid model.
