D365 F&O Security & Environments Consultant

Location: Liverpool (2 days on-site per week)

End User: FMCG / Consumer Goods

About the Role

We are working with a long-standing client in the Food & Beverage sector, based in Liverpool, who recently completed their Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation. They are seeking a hands-on F&O Security & Environments Specialist to join their team and ensure their D365 platform remains secure, stable, and scalable.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a household name in the FMCG space and help shape the future of their ERP system.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Security Management: Design, implement, and maintain security roles, duties, and privileges in D365 F&O.
• Environment Oversight: Manage multiple environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod), ensuring smooth deployments and minimal disruption.
• Access Governance: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure appropriate user access.
• Compliance & Audit: Support audits by maintaining security configurations that meet standards.
• Collaboration: Work with IT, functional leads, and external partners for environment stability.
• Documentation & Training: Create documentation and transfer knowledge to internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in D365 F&O security and environment management.
• Strong understanding of role-based security models and LCS.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Effective communicator capable of bridging technical and business teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a hybrid model.
