D365 Business Central Consultant – Jet Reports

Rate: Up to £575/day (Outside IR35)

Remote (UK-based)

Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to support a retail-focused implementation. This role will involve hands-on configuration, data handling, and business reporting – with Jet Reports expertise as an essential requirement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver functional support and configuration within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, tailored to a retail operating environment.
2. Build and maintain Jet Reports to meet reporting and MI requirements across finance and operations.
3. Load and manage Configuration Packages, including data migration and validation.
4. Liaise with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accurate system setup.
5. Support UAT, go-live readiness, and post-implementation activities.
6. Work closely with teams managing stock, sales, purchasing, and finance modules.
7. Demonstrate strong experience as a Business Central Functional Consultant.
8. Proficient in designing and delivering Jet Reports.
9. Hands-on experience with Configuration Packages and data uploads.
10. Comfortable working in a retail environment, with knowledge of relevant business processes.
11. Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
12. Understanding of stock and inventory management within Business Central.
13. Experience integrating Business Central with third-party retail systems or e-commerce platforms.
14. Familiarity with Power BI or Power Platform tools.
